So as always I tried to get some cute family photos so I could send out a Christmas card. Every year I attempt to do this. Some years I buy paper to write the "family letter" other years I actually make 50 copies of a half decent photo of my kids and vow to mail them out. And one year I had our Christmas picture turned into a Valentine card (thank you Summer) and pretended I was going to send those to all my family and friends across the country.
So here is 2009's attempt. It was a wintery day and we had friends in town, why not go down to the square and take some family photos?? (I had previously scouted these sites for photos as I was planning on succeeding.) I begged all my kids to put on something clean and that fit them. I had to scream at some kids and sob to others but before we left I felt everyone knew what we were gunning for.....just one shot of everyone smiling.. sincerely.... Silly me.
For the record these are great kids. I am so grateful for them. Thomas is 15, Jonathan 13, Bethany 11, (turns 12 in 8 weeks) Aubry 9, and Daphne 4. They are super fun and I am blessed to have them.
